Prospect
The process of writing articles takes considerable time for me. Sometimes, even for a seemingly simple concept, I start by explaining it from the very basics (such as how to open the command prompt) to ensure it is friendly and comprehensible for beginners. Moving forward, I plan to reference previous content more often in my articles to avoid unnecessary lengthiness.
Mindset and Changes in Work
The year 2024 marked a turning point for me, deeply influencing my work attitude and life direction.
Initially, I was passionate about work and eager to achieve accomplishments. However, as I collaborated with colleagues lacking professional skills and faced frustrations over unfair treatment, I gradually learned to adapt to the environment and focus on enhancing my own value. Through this process, I realized that true achievements come from investing in myself rather than solely contributing to the company. Therefore, I have devoted more time outside of work to personal projects, professional research, and improving my life quality.
For example, I observed others investing in themselves in the following ways:
- Starting to invest in real estate and renovations to improve living quality.
- Continuously learning new technologies and applying them to projects.
- Accepting freelance work to expand knowledge and practical skills.
The current company I work for offers only a few advantages, such as freedom and flexibility, which allow me to maintain stable work output while focusing on personal research and writing notes to further accumulate knowledge and experience.
More detailed insights have been shared in the article Poor Scrum Management. Even though team issues remained unresolved throughout the year, I learned to dedicate more energy to areas within my control.
Personal Aspirations
At the beginning of 2024, I embarked on developing personal projects using Node.js, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch. However, as the implementation progressed, I gradually encountered the limitations of these platforms. After thorough analysis and exploration, I decided by year-end to shift to Deno, PostgreSQL, and Next.js as my new core technology stack.
In the upcoming year, I aim to achieve full-stack integration for the project and establish a comprehensive back-end database system. Along the way, I anticipate numerous technical challenges, but I am confident in leveraging these challenges as opportunities for valuable skill enhancement.
By 2025, my goal is to deliver a complete and remarkable product that I can take pride in. I plan to continuously refine and optimize it, aspiring to create a widely acclaimed and highly recommended system.
